About. |
Established in 2003The Margaret River Surf Life Saving Club was established in 2003 and ran a Nipper program from 2006-2009. The nipper program was re-established in 2017 and is now growing from strength to strength with the support of the Woodside Nipper Initiative. The club has also maintained a ERT (emergency response team) over many years.
|
Our GoalOur goal is to establish a training and education program for the local Margaret River community in open water lifesaving. These skills start in Nippers and can be extended to advanced skills in high surf water rescue. The youth will also gain an understanding of community and how they can contribute through service. This will lead to a strong local rescue service that can respond to incidents in the local community.

Hi - I’m Lia - Mum to two water babies and a full time water child myself. I come from ex nippers stock and absolutely love what the program did for my beach skills growing up in Perth. I’m your nippers coordinator for this year and look forward to helping families have the same great experience that we had growing up. Catch me at [email protected] or find me sneaking a swim or two down at the beach. Nipper Contact Email |
