MRSLSC Incident Response Types
The attached diagram outlines the four categories of incident responses, each varying in urgency and the level of training required to manage the situation effectively.
To support rapid coordination, trained members are added to the MRSLSC Incident Response WhatsApp group, which can be activated when needed to assist with incidents across the region.
In addition, Surf Life Saving Western Australia (SLSWA) has implemented a proximity-based texting system. This system enables the activation of nearby qualified members who may be able to respond to incidents anywhere in Western Australia, enhancing statewide emergency coverage.

BEN Numbers are the numbers associated with beach locations on the Western Australian Coast. The Augusta Margaret River Shire has participated in this initiative. BEN numbers for the local area's are shown in the following diagrams.
