The Club maintains an Incident Response group which can be activated by ringing 08 9207 6688 or 0448 025 339 in an emergency.
Depending on the type and urgency of the incident - different groups will be used.

Currently members that are able to participate are added to a whatsapp group that can called as required in response to incidents.
SLSWA has also implemented a system of proximity texting where you can be texted if you are near an incident in W.A
If you are comfortable with attending the incident you can confirm your availability.

IRB Training
The current round of training will be completed by the end of February. Make sure you accumulate between 6-8 sessions in the IRB by this time. Assessment will be in March for those that are ready and next season for those unable to make the hours.

BEN Numbers are the numbers associated with beach locations on the Western Australian Coast. The Augusta Margaret River Shire has participated in this initiative. BEN numbers for the local area's are shown in the following diagrams.
